i have installed the BootSkin but it won't find my skin

i have installed the BootSkin program but when i click file and import, i try to import my skin but it won't work. is there a special file format to make it work or do i have to compress it? if anyone has an answer please help, i have made the config setting along with the bmps of the screen and the process bar, i don't know what to do now, im stuck, please help

It needs to be a .bootskin, which is just a renamed zip but the easiest way is to move folder with images and .ini file to C:\Program Files\Stardock\WinCustomize\BootSkin\skins, then open Bootskin, as long as you have no errors with screen image or .ini it will be in the list.

3 errors that will cause it not to show in list.

1) screen image size wrong, must be 640x480
2) screen image wrong color depth, must be 4bit 16 color bitmap (progress bar must be the same and have same color palette as screen image or colors will be distorted when used.)
3) wrong name info for screen image in the .ini file.
